Aspire 5570Z is classified as one of the best best performant notebooks. to fix the Edata security you need to make a backuop disc and recovery .
just press ALT + F10 when you see the the acer log and before the OS starts booting, then enter 000000 as a default password . choose after that to restore the system to default factory ...

When I boot my Acer 9410, it comes up with a message that the eDataSecurity loader failed. The system then becomes unusable as it does not load and run any other programs.

You need to enter into safe mode.
Your going to go to control panel , remove uninstall acer edata security.

You should download this registry cleaner, its free, unless you have one.

Go to system restore and make sure its on.

Run cleaner and clean the registry of errors.

Then you go to the next link I posted, look through the list for your operating system and download the updated edata security.

Acer 5920 Edata Security problem

Hi there.

There is possibly something still in your registry. Go to http://onecare.live.com/site/en-gb/default.htm

If you are running XP, click on Full Service Scan, if you are running Vista, then click on the beta version. This is a Safety Scanner from Microsoft, that will run a varied range of scans, including cleaning the registry. Once this has finished, reboot, and then try to install eDataSecurity.

Let me know you get on.

delete/uninstall edata security completely.

Then download a more stable security like AVG, McAfee or Norton, check this site some are having the same problem and this seems to be the best solution.

Pop-up acer edata security management each time open laptop

I would go to the program file itself (it might be on the desktop, might be in the start menu, or might be in a folder in C:\Program Files) open up the acer e-manager and look for an option for settings.  You should be able to un-select options for security notifications and automatic updates.  I do not have the program on this computer, but I have seen it before on other laptops.  Most all programs like that will let you change the settings.  The security updates are not entirely necessary, so long as you have an anti-virus program installed on your computer.  So just turn off the auto-updates and the notifications through the program itself.

try logging in safe mode and reboot the pc after loading safe mode I have had programs crash installing and I loaded safe mode and restarted pc and in safe mode it fix the problem.. so when I restarted pc it worked ok.. the program mighted of corrupted and you might have to uninstall it and reinstall it I dont remember if acer has a app disk like dell, emachines(new),gateway or ifs a full restore disk.. Im thinking that its a app disk.. you might also want to check for viruses. with a program like house call free scanner from trend.. and spyware scanner free adaware. both are good.
if you still cannot login to windows you can run msconfig in run box and disable it in startup but becareful with what you disable

Ok that is just a program that comes with the Acer laptops, it really is Useless and I dont use it on my computer, its part of the acer e management , e recovery, and etc programs that acer made. To fix this you can uninstall it under the ADD/remove programs or if you want to keep it you can then goto the acer website and under support put your model number in and download that particular software again and it might fix itself if there where some type of missing files on that particular software. Secondly if this is a vista machine it could be the software is not compatible and it causes the OS to crash which then comes with that error to the user and never goes away . Hope my answer gets you closer to a solution.

Everytime I open certain docs. I get told that "eDataSecurity was not properly installed! Please re-install the software" I then click Ok and the it says Windows explorer has stopped working.
It's becoming an anoyence considering I can't use my windows2007 anymore :(
Is there anything I can do to re-install eDataSecurity,so I can live out happy days with my computer and not decide to throw it out my window??
