The T-CON board is bad. However, these rarely fail on their own. I would suspect an over voltage from the power supply or damage from dropping. However the vertical lines are from the broken T-CON board that is on the top edge of the panel

could be a loose ribbon cable on a buffer board, or one of the buffer could be going bad

I have the three zenith plasmas, I've fixed the two that were flickering. The one with the verticle lines, I sawpped the Z-SUS and the Y-SUS from the good TV to the bad and still had the white lines. I looked at the two boards hooked together with 3 aluminum covered ribbon cables that are in the lower center of the TV with all the video inputs, on the far left there is a right angle connector that has about 20 pins, the white cable comes out and goes under to a circuit board this looks like this cable supplies the video signal to the screen. I disconnected the cable and the screen went black, all the voltages going into the video board are normal, so there must be something fried on one of the two boards, there are a LOT of electrolytic caps on those boards. I will post when I figure out whats cooked, you may have the same problem too.

Just reheat and add soder to fuse connected behing the driver boards.
