Just go ahead place the small CD on the center, it will still fit and will work. If your CD ROM is the one that's kind of standing, you will need to guide it (tilt to a degree that you feel can help) so it will not fall esp. if it can't hold the CD. If you have the external CD or DVD ROM then you can just do it like this.
Then you're ready to install your web cam! Hope it helps.
