The button that I was referring too is on the actual device. The mode button...if you press it twice you can get to the menu for <local folder>.
If you have window media player, make sure your naxa device is in the usb port... click on window media sync tab and direct the path to your flash drive ---->music/flash drive/songs right click on the song you want delete and delete. right click on the song you want to delete and delete.
if you are talking about the problem with the display out, yes the main board is right under the cd mech. All you need to take out is the cd mech, not the board if you are wanting the reflow the solder on the surface mount resistors in the front right side (with the radio facing you).
