If possible any refrigerator should be moved in the upright position. The reason for keeping it up right is so that you do not get system oil in the freon drier. If you absolutely have to move it in a horizontal position DO NOT start the unit for about 2 hours so that any oil that migrated into the coolant plumbing and freon drier will gravity drain back into the compressor. If possible position the unit so that the freon drier is above the compressor when the unit is horizontal. The freon drier will have a capillary tube and 2 copper lines on it.
