Subsidy Password helps to remove the network lock from your Motorola W233.Subsidy password provider by service provider ,but service provider will ask to wait until contract gets end. They won't give soon.So better get the Subsidy code from Prounlocking.com and unlock your Motorola W233 easily. But you need to specify the network, country its locked now to buy the subsidy code(Password).
A request for a Subsidy Password means the phone is 'locked' to a specific network provider (SIM), so it's the same as an 'unlock code'.
Provided you've had the phone for the minimum time the contract runs for, you can request the unlock code from your provider - ie the network the phone originally worked on.
To obtain your IMEI number try entering: *#06# in full (including asterisk) and the phone should display it for you. As far as I know you don't need the IMEI in order to unlock the phone.
The subsidy password you are looking for is specific to your phone, you
cannot simply use a password that worked for somebody else. The best
way to avoid paying Cingular for this password is to unlock your Motorola V220 by downloading software that will circument the need for the subsidy password. This can be found at http://www.cell-unlock.com or at http://www.gsm-unlock.com/unlock/unlock-motorola.html (Cheaper)
hi the problem with unlocking your phone is it can be only done using a flash lead and the software to unlock the phone the older motorola phones you could unlock using a code but when they made the newer ones they disabled this and the software on the phone dont allow you to remove the subsidy lock. This is true for most newer phones uptill last year you could unlock all nokias using a code but the newer phones you cant do it. The only way it can be done is take it into phone shop and pay small fee or you can buy the lead and download the software to unlock the phone. If you goto ask.com and type in free motorola unlock codes you will see that it cant be done on your model without a cable sorry i couldnt offer anymore help but all phone experts will tell you it cant be done using codes have a look for yourself let me know if you need further assistance
