    I have the same problem. My mouse just freeze every now and then... and I have to disconnect/connect the usbdongle to make it unfreeze. The keybord works fine, it's just the mouse that somehow loses touch with the dongle... and I've changed batteries like a hundred times. This is driving me nuts!

Hello, it can depend on many things
1. Update your mouse driver (enter the manufacture site, find there model of your mouse, and download drivers for it)
2. If your mouse is not laser (working with ball) open under the ball and clean it.
3. It can be virus or spyis infected your PC. uptade your virus definition and run deep system scan.
4 If your mouse has law bit, you have to change it. (if nothing solve problem do this)

Logitech Cordless optical mosue freezes

Hello Juan Olivo;

Unfortunetly, The mouse sounds like it's been damaged. If you want to be adventoeus. you could always take it apart and see what might be loss inside, but your best bet is to just get the replacement mouse HERE. This way you can still use the same reciever for both the mouse and keyboard.

Good Luck, and don't forget to leave a rating based on my solution.

Thanks Mark

I had same problem. While I have only recently "fixed" it, I'm not sure how long-term the solution is, yet. From control panel, double-click mouse, select the "Hardware" tab and choose "Properties" button. Select the "Advanced Settings" tab, and lower the "Sample Rate" to 60 reports/second. Mine was set at 100 r/s. I also increased the input buffer to 120 (having no idea of what a normal buffer size might be). Anyway, on reboot, it worked (which is significant progress, since every reboot before, I had to uninstall drivers, remove mouse cord, scan for changes, plug in mouse, then scan for changes again, /sigh). Good luck.
