Question about Toshiba TZ50V51 50" Rear Projection Television
Every once in a while when I turn on the TV I heard a popping sound. Picture/TV worked fine. During the last few weeks, I would hear a pop and then the picutre would go black and then come back after a few seconds. Last Saturday I heard a pop and then the picture went black. It never came back in. When using the remote, you can still see the volume control, menu settings, etc., but no picture. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. docrock
Possible problems: * The TV set may be unplugged. * A fuse or circuit breaker may be blown or switched off. * The remote control unit (RCU) may be disabled. Solutions: * Make sure the TV/VCR are plugged in and the wall switch is on. * Check the fuse or circuit breaker. Test the outlet with a lamp. * Replace the RCU's batteries: if this fails exchange the unit.
