On PCs, Windows, it's usually in the lower right hand corner of the screen. Look for the wifi symbol or "hover" your mouse pointer over the symbols and a small yellow box will appear that identifies what each icon is for.
Also, you may need to do settings on your printer. Instructions should be in the manual/CD that came with it.
You can open the Windows and see the battery charging indicator on the right-bottom-corner. You can monitor the charging progress (every 10 minutes; the battery should get 1 more percent charging). Please make sure that there is a "charging" info when your mouse pointer is hovering on that icon. If the info is "not charging", then probably the battery is start failing or it is failed.

Connect the external hard drive to your computer using a usb cable. Then go to 'my computer' on your pc, click it, you would see your external hard drive. Open it. Go to the location of your favourites on the hard drive. Right click on it. Select 'send to', then select 'my documents' to send it to your documents. To unplug your hard drive, dont just pull it out. Go to the bottom right corner of your pc. Click on the notification icon. Hover the mouse pointer over each one of them till you see the one labelled 'safely remove external device'. Click on it, then click on your hard drive name. When you see displayed 'you can now safely remove external device', then unplug your cable from the pc and the drive. To access what you transfered to your pc from the hard drive, go to 'my documents'.
It is ok if it is sata, what you have to do is go to the setup or bios (press f2 or del or f10 during start up, it depends to the brand, etc) and look for the Legacy ATA option (or legacy sata) and enable it, or it may say ATA (SATA) mode and change it to legacy, that will make windows to detect your hard drive.
