Question about Microsoft Wireless Network Adapter Xbox 360 (SKWIFIX360)

1 Answer

Microsoft wireless adaptor

I was playing on my system when my power went out and when it when back on I had red ring of death. I turned it off and on and it seemed to be working fine. But when I tried to connect to live it would not. Tried to find the problem and it said the adaptor was disconnected. I looked at it and it was not light up at all. I unpluged it and pluged it back in and it was red. But still it said it was disconnected. Every time I turn the system of the light will not light up until I unplug it and plug it back in and it is always red. I checked my router and it was fine.

Sounds like the wireless adapter may have encounteded a glitch of some kind. I would suggest trying a brand new one, and see if it then will work. Otherwise, you might have to send your console in for repairs by Microsoft, since you said you had the ring of death, It could be that the hardware failure which displays this has disabled all hardware devices. i.e. wireless, ethernet, USB ports . . . .
