Question about Canon PowerShot A75 Digital Camera

Powershot A75 with pink/blue streaks

I am getting a lot of overexposed photos, and then some will be completely obliterated with pink and blue streaks (an overall purple) and other shots with just a pink cast at the sides or all over. Amongst this I get some shots that seem normal, but can't find any cause as the problem seems to come in all modes of operation.

Focus on LD screen alternates between fuzzy and clear. Shots take on a purple hue at times. Not all shots have a pink or purple cast both on the screen and then when downloaded for printing.

I get the same (kinda spooky effect) of purple streaks. Sometimes when the camera is streak-free (it comes and goes) the images are given a green tone.

We have purchased 2 Canon cameras and both are doing the same-can't take a picture-colors bleed down through the screen. Occassionally we get a good picture. Turning off and on doesn't work.

Canon A75 displays images in pink

The problem could be either the display screen has partially failed (red green or blue color is not displaying) OR the screen's connection to the control board needs to be cleaned. Either repair requires disassembly. The charge at my shop would be $49 labor plus parts if required.
