Question about iRiver clix 2nd generation MP3 Player
I'm trying to download my cd albums onto my clix and for some reason it downloads on the laptop and says it's been transferred to my clix but when I check it on my clix the music is not there. I have re-installed and re-set everything only to lose it all and have to start again. Even my lovely wallpaper that I had when I first got the clix is gone. The same wallpaper with the coloured lines that is on my box is not there. Help! Can you help me with this?
If you set up Windows Media Player to autosync to the Clix, then, when you delete songs from the computer (including the wallpaper jpeg), the files also get deleted off the clix. Make sure you have Manual Sync enabled in Windows Media Player (or, more accurately, disable auto-sync).
If auto-sync is already disabled, then you have a good, old-fashioned DB corruption. You can reload the firmware from iRiver's website:

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
