Motherboard cd lost

Find another computer with a CD-writer and Internet access.
Access the ASUS web-site. Search the site, for your specific motherboard. Select and download the device-drivers for VIDEO and NETWORK. Burn the downloaded files to a CD-R.
Move the CD-R disk to your computer, and install the device-drivers.

Elitegroup P4M800 motherboard CD insTaLLER

The best place to download drivers is the manufacturer's website. Elite Computer Systems (aka Elitegroup or ECS) does make a board with the P4M800-M designation. Here is the link to the downloads page from the ECS website:)

http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWebSite/Downloads/ProductsDetail_Download.aspx?detailid=530&DetailName=New&DetailDesc=P4M800-M%20%20(V1.0A)&CategoryID=1&MenuID=82&LanID=0

Not many drivers listed, just the BIOS updates, SATA and audio and the manual. Perhaps the manual will prove more helpful in finding whatever other drivers you might need.

you will need to install the default drivers that came with your motherboard first, if you have lost this cd then you can download the drivers from your manufacturers home page. Once you have done this install the latest drivers for your graphics card

Iam having a boistar motherboard but iam not able to install the landrivers can u please help me

You have Atheros L2 - 10/100 Controller. Open Device Manager from Control Panel-> System -> Hardware -Device Manager.

Under unknown devices see if u can find Ethernet Controller. If found right click on it and select update driver, specify the location of your driver cd. Hopefully windows will be able to install the driver. If not then please let us know

No sound device

? mark means no sound driver install or errors in Device Manager. u can check ur mother board cd room or can search ur audio driver in web or below may be ur answer

Question: Where do I locate motherboard sound drivers?
Answer: Users who have motherboards with on-board audio (often with VIA, Realtek, or C-Media chipsets) may have issues with their audio or AC'97 errors in Device Manager. Often this is caused because the operating system has been reinstalled and the motherboard chipset drivers are not installed. To resolve this issue try following the below steps.
Let Windows redetect drivers
If you have not recently reinstalled Microsoft Windows it's possible that your audio drivers are simply corrupt. Open Device Manager and remove all devices under "Sound, video and game controllers" and any "Other devices". Once removed reboot the computer and let Microsoft Windows re-detect the audio drivers.
Motherboard chipset drivers
Reinstalling the motherboard chipset drivers will usually resolve this issue. If your computer came with a Motherboard CD, install the chipset drivers from the CD and the sound drivers if also available on the CD.
If you do not have a motherboard CD, obtain the motherboard chipset drivers from the motherboard manufacturer.
Sound card drivers
If after installing the motherboard chipset drivers you continue to have issues install the sound drivers. We suggest you download the sound drivers from the computer manufacturer or motherboard manufacturer.
A listing of motherboard manufacturers and their drivers can be found on our motherboard chipset drivers page.
