1. Download this tool:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4040651/LLFTOOL.EXE

2. Format

(WARNING: After running this low level format tool,
the whole USB flash disk surface will be fully erased.
Therefore, data restoration will be impossible after using this utility!)

Windows xp file integrity failed in desktop

Hello Srinivas.

youre pen-drive "MUST" be formatted with " FAT32 " data system.
win XP "can`t read the NTFS format of win7."
(means also HDD`s to connect them with USB)

this works also for DVD and BR - players if they wont read an USB device.

Greet`s
Gue.

You have problems.

It is possible to to use a Pen Drive/ Flash drive to load windows XP, but the process is never 100% reliable. You need to have the actual equivalent of the XP system disk, or boot disk, on your pen drive. Even then your system may not recognise the pen drive as a system disk. It works for some but not not for others. If you have your original XP disks, try loading it on the pen drive via another PC. It works best if the pen drive is formatted to NTFS, but may still work on FAT32 format. 2Gb pen is a general good size. Trial and error.

There is reportedly an XP Lite version that is more suited to this, but I am not clear on the details or legalities..

Your only real sensible option is to replace the CDROM. You may wish to upgrade to DVDRAM Drive for a few cents more.

Unable to format the cruser pendrive

Far too often these little things have an almost invisible read/write protect button on them. Look carefully, over the entire surface of the USB Flash Drive. You might have this switch turned to Write Protect, which means there is nothing you can do, until you turn it the other way, and allow the device to be written to.

Cheers!

Unable to format pen drive

XP has a stupid feature like that. If you did format with the XP style, try to do it manually.

My computer > Locate your usb pendrive >Rightclick and Format.

If this don't work, your pendrive might just be malfunctioning. Replace it if you can, or upgrade to external harddrive.
