When this happens, something has interrupted the heat source. Run the dryer for a couple of minutes to see if it gets hot. Be sure you don't have the dial or controls on a non-heat setting, such as "Fluff" or "Wrinkle Control." On an electric dryer, this may mean that the circuit breaker or fuse that controls the power has blown --check and replace or reset. Be aware that a dryer may have two breakers or fuses: the motor will run when one works, but the heating element requires both. On a gas dryer, recheck the control's setting to be sure it's not on a heat-free setting. Check the gas valve behind the dryer to be sure the gas supply is turned on. Also make sure the house's main gas valve is turned on. On an older dryer, make sure the pilot light is burning. If it isn't, re-light it. You can find directions HERE or in your owner's manual (pilot light instructions are often mounted next to the pilot light on the burner, too). Note: Most modern dryers have electronic ignition instead of a pilot light. If yours has electronic ignition and isn't heating, call a qualified repair person.

Looked simple but hazed. I found a solution from wiring diagram came with a machine. I decided an easiest and simplest one that was a themal fuse located on exhaust duck. It costed me a $15 for a fuse and my labor. That was it.

There is an element in back of your dryer and it may be out. You can check it out with an ohm meter to see if the circuit that goes thru it is not broken. And you can check to see if there is electricity going to it with an ac voltage checker when switched on. Also there is a sensor that tells the dryer when to kick on and kick off to keep your unit from becoming to hot and catching on fire that can also go out and it can be tested with an ohm meter or a voltage tester. You may have to have supervision as you can be subjected to electrical shock when testing electrical items not knowing how.

SOURCE: dryer heats but won't tumble

Assuming, the timer is ok and that you can hear the the dryer motor running, it sounds like a broken belt. These kind of failures generally occur suddenly - one day it works, the next day it doesn't.

SOURCE: dryer heats but does'nt tumble/spins, roper model

you will need to change your belt. to access the unit you will need to remove the 2 philips screw by the lint screen. use a screw driver and place it in front and pry it up. do the same thing on both the right and left side. you will then be able to see if the belt is there or not. you will need to remove the 2 5//16th screws on the inside of dryer. the front panel comes off and you will hva access to the belt. the part # for the belt 341241.
