You need a service manual which is useful to get the part number of the components ,and also you will need a service manual to guide you. You can find one here:http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/

Good luck...

Hi,

This is a known issue with this particular brand/model. I am assuming that you are familiar with electronic components/circuitry and safety procedures, use of a DVM and a soldering iron. It would be to your added advantage access to a service manual or at the very least a schematic diagram with voltage readings. Should you be uncomfortable performing a DIY (do-it-yourself), perhaps your best bet would then be to seek the services of a qualified professional.

The relay is typ[e DH1U 12VDC (RL001). Result is mechanical buzzing sound, no picture and no sound. Often, fault is an open/leaky capacitor 470uF/25V (C022), test and replace.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

The ASD relay supplies battery voltage (12+ volts) to the fuel injectors and ignition coil(s). With certain emissions packages it also supplies 12-volts to the oxygen sensor heating elements. The Fuel Pump Relay is a separate relay controlled by the ASD relay input to the PCM. Fuse #12 (10amp) provides 12 volts to the coil side of both the relays and the ignition switch. Fuse #6 (30 amps) supplies 12 volts to the output side of the relay. Fuse #16 (15 amp) from the relay output to the Oxygen Sensors and Fuse #26 (15 amp) relay output to the PCM. Fuse #24 (20 amp) is Fuel pump relay output to fuel pump. Fuse #19 (10 amp) supplies 12 volts direct to the PCM.
look for burned or melted wires in the offending circuit.
sounds like you wiggled a wire while installing new relay.

Sanyo CLT2054 - power cord has light but when I plug it into the

OK you need a volt meter to check the voltage output of your power pack as two things cause this now enough power out the pack to run your unit or the unit has a short both problems will unlight the light so you need to know if the power supply is working right first as it should say like 120 volts AC in and 12 volts DC 1000 ma out so you will need to mesure this with a volt meter. this is a common problem loading the load of the curcuit as in your TV is mor the the power pack is giving out thus shorting out the power pack of any voltage present, as the little LED light your seeing only takes 5 volts at very ittle current to light and dose not repersent the total voltage output of the power pack itself

Check the power supply for 12 volts dc, it must provide at minimum 3 amps of power to trigger the on circuit. If not, replace the adapter... if you need one, please contact me.

HUMMING/CHATTERING NOISE ON SANYO TV

Confirmation: Lee2fixit's solution also worked on a Sanyo 19" TV Model DS19580with 'buzzing relay'. Chassis carriessimilar relay (Type DG1U 12VDC II TV-5 8A 250V~ also by DEC) at location RL601and a 25VDC 470uF electrolytic cap at C622. After confirming the relay was sound and finding no obviously faultedcomponents tied to it, replaced the cap. Bingo, normal operation and a quiet relay. Will post a follow-up ONLY if the fix failsbefore the rest of the TV .. it's almost10 years old after all. Thank youLee2fixit and FixIt.com.

Sanyo dp42746 low volt power problems

The power supply is failing, or there is another circuit area that is pulling too much current, and the supply is going in to protect mode.

This would require proper troubleshooting by an experienced tech. If the problem is very involved, or the tech is not familiar with the set, he will require the service manuals and service information.

12 volts plug in for my TV

Sure. These are called power inverters. Here's a link to one that should work. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=422932&CatId=237 Make sure you look at the wattage rating of the electronics you wish to run on the inverter and make sure you don't exceed that wattage rating on the inverter. You can get larger inverters but they have to be usually hardwired into the battery system of your vehicle.
