I have a Whirlpool Accubake 465 oven, model number SF368LEPB. When I select "Bake" and then press "Start", there is a sound of the flow of gas and the ignitor attempts to spark. I can visibly see the ignitor sparking, but the oven fails to ignite and heat. When I select "Broil" and "Start", the heating element at the top of the oven immediately fires up and heats perfectly. All of the stove top burner work properly. What part do I need to replace, and where is it located? Thanks so much, Kevin S.

Hello Kevin,
That sounds to me like a cracked bake igniter. One way to tell if its the igniter and but a problem with the burner is use bbq lighter and try to light the bake burner, If it does light using the bbq lighter it will be the igniter. Also ya could remove the igniter from the bake burner and see if their is a visible crack in it.
If it does turn out the igniter needs to be replaced,the part number is 9758079 thepart can be picked up from yoor local appliance parts store or online at;

How do you recalibrate the oven temperature of a Whirlpool Accubake oven system

Hello,

To do that;
  1. Press BAKE

  2. Select a temperature of 550 or highest temp on some models its 500

  3. Quickly (within 5-seconds of setting 550) press and hold the BAKE button approximately 5-15 seconds until "00" or the previously entered temperature adjustment is displayed.

    Pressing longer could cause an F0, F1 or F7 error to be displayed.

  4. Press the UP/DOWN arrow button or turn the set knob to change the oven temperature in 5° increments to a maximum of +/- 35°

  5. Press the CLEAR or OFF button to return to normal operation.
