Check the main drive belt, and the linkages from the brake clutch pedal to the pulley that tensions the belt. If you do not find anything there, then remove the back panel, jack up the mower, and turn the transaxle pulley by hand to see if the wheels turn, make sure it is gear.
If you are lucky, it will be a slipped belt or broken belt. I hope this helps get you going.
