During a current move, the drive belt on my Sony PSLX250H turntable came off. I don't know how to route it to put it back in plade
Usually, for most turntables, the belt goes on the bottom of the
platter first. Then you put the platter back on the turntable. From
here you should see an opening on the platter where you can 'grab' the
belt. Pinch the belt, and then wrap it around the rotating motor's
shaft. This is usually at the top left side - around the 10 o'clock
position.

Thanks for your help. Now I won't have to take the turntable into a Sony dealer. The fix was right on, and even I could do it!
are you kidding me? i just looked up the same problem and instead of getting the answer, i get nothing? I JUST WANNA LISTEN TO MY RECORDS!!!!
The belt came loose during a move. I don't know how to replace it.
Your first suggestion did the job! Granted, if I had only used my brain I might have figured it out, but my brain went on vacation and I was delighted that you came to my rescue! Thanks!
