Question about RCA Lyra RD1072 MP3 Player
When i have a memory card in my rca lyra rd1702 it freezes and wont play any songs. I have tried buying a new memory card and got the same problem. It plays all songs perfectly when there is no memory card in the unit.
I had the same problem, and that is what RCA answer me: "... Due to a unique FAT12/16 cluster size requirement, the supplied format utility that comes with the RD1021/RD1071/RD1075 MUST BE used on all SD/MMC cards before they will work in the RD1021/RD1071/RD1075. Once formatted, these cards will still be FAT compatible and should still work with other devices, i.e. RD1080. The format utility can be found under "Programs", "Lyra Personal Audio Player", "RD1021,RD1071,RD1075", "Format Media" once your software has been correctly installed from the included RCA CD-ROM. ..."
