Ink cartridge problem?

Try to re-seat the ink cartridge.

  1. Press your printer's button to position the ink heads for replacement
  2. Then gently pull out the problematic ink cartridge.
  3. Turn the printer OFF to reset the printer's memory.
  4. After about 3 minutes, turn ON your printer and it should now ask for the missing ink cartridge.
  5. Now gently put on the problematic ink cartridge in place.
  6. Let the printer re-charge the inks and clean the ink heads afterward through the printer's maintenance program installed in your computer. (Go to "Printer's and Faxes, right click on your installed printer, then click "Printer's Preferences. Go to the "maintenance tab" and click on something like Print Head Cleaning.)
Just give it a try.

If you used a refilled cartridge go back to Dell OEM. If not then pull out the cartridge and clean the carriage it sits in and make sure you removed the tape. then power off and back on again and let the printer reset.

I refilled my dell ink cartridges from Costco. Now my computer says "Low ink warning" How do I do a hard reset for the Dell 926 AIO Printer?

The ink is fine in the cartridge. The ink level indicator just thinks the cartrdige is still empty. You can ignore the message or turn it off all together. Just bring in your cartrdige for a refill when it shows signs of fading or streaking. Go to www.inkjet411.com for more help

I just had my cartridges refilled but my printer still says low ink i used my old cartridges from dell how can i get my 926 printer to work with the refilled cartridges it will not print.

With this type of cartridge your printer will always think refills have low ink. This is because the electronics on the cartridge cannot be reset to tell the printer it is full of ink. However you should still be able to print and just ignore the ink levels. I think the problem you are having is that the electronics on your cartridge are no longer functioning. Unfortunately there is no way to fix this problem. I know you can buy refills from Cartridge World stores, but I don't know about other retailers.

I filled my 926 cartridge but the computer but my info window on my computer doesn't recognize it as full and will not operate it. Put in a new cartridge and it works fine.I used to have an Epson that...

yes, they both work on the same technology. if you get it refilled. it will still show as empty but you cna take prints. actually the cartridge is empty, but you have refilled it. so the cartridge doesnot know that there is ink. you cna use the cartridge but it is highly recomended not you use it. becasue it can also blow up your printer. i have seen cases in which people refill the cartidge to save money but it cost them a printer. so you better not do it. replace the cartridge. dont refill it.

Dell series 9 refill and low ink warnings

The series 9 cartridges can be refilled. As long as the electronics are still functioning on your cartridge you should be able to print no problem. There is no way to reset the ink levels on these cartridges so you will just need to ignore the ink level warnings. I would recommend Cartridge World for ink refills. Many other stores and on-line sellers don't do the cleaning, vacuum filling, electrical testing, and print testing that Cartridge World stores do to make sure your cartridge works.

Dell 926 injection refill kit didnt work

The ink your purchased is likely a cheap watered down version of what your printer is meant to take. You may notice that the ink smears when you rub the page directly after printing. Why you chose to use the blue and red ink to make black blows my mind. These refill kits are insanely cheap and buying the black could not have been much more. Not using black ink in the black cartridge would explain why your print is faded. Also, there is no way to reset the ink levels on this type of cartridge. As long as the printer still prints, just ignore the ink level indicator and print until the ink runs dry. I recommend Cartridge World for ink refills because they use high quality ink to manufacturer specified volumes while still saving you money.
