Iphone stopped working after trying iTunes update

My friend gave me an Iphone on birthday before he left UK for good. I could use it with my T-Mobile sim card. But when I connected it to my computer, a message came up asking me to update iTunes software. When I did it, the phone stopped working and on the screen I could only see a picture i.e. a USB connector at the bottom, above it an arrow trying to connect to the iTunes icon above. I cant understand why, could you please help.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I factory reset my IPhone?

Click the iTunes menu located on the left side of the main iTunes toolbar, select Check for Updates from the resulting drop-down menu and ensure you have the latest version of iTunes. If not, download and install the latest version thereof. Afterward, connect your iPhone to your computer via USB and click the gray Back Up Now button when viewing the Summary tab for your given device in iTunes. Alternatively, follow our guide on how to use iCloud to back up the device you Apple's remote servers. Although backing up your device is not necessary, doing so will store your photos, apps, contacts, settings, and other data so you can automatically restore other iOS devices from the backup down the line.

Computer will not detect ipod

I had this issue with the new iPhone 4S (iPod worked fine, but no iPhone sync in iTunes, although I could see it in My Computer). I found many suggested solutions from uninstall/reinstall iTunes Helper, check Bonjour service to ensure it's running, deleting the driver associated with the iPod... none of them worked. Then one day iTunes wanted to update... I let it... everything magically worked after that.
Sorry if you've already tried the updater or a whole new install of the latest iTunes... sometimes the simplest explanation is the fix, so I had to throw it out there ;)

I want unlock my apple iphone4.how can i unlock it? it was brought in uk now i am in india.I cant able to use in india.

you can unlock your iphone..there are many software available to unlock iphone and my friend unlocked it by remote unlocking..there are many online providers who provide the service..one of my friend got unlocked his iphone from theunlockspot by remote unlock..and here is the instructions
1. Wait for an email saying your phone has been activated or remotely unlocked.
2. Install the latest version of iTunes.
3. Make sure your Apple iPhone phone software is updated to the latest version using the iTunes software.
4. Connect your Apple iPhone to iTunes with a NOT ACCEPTED SIM card.
5. Wait until iTunes detects your Apple iPhone.
6. Disconnect your Apple iPhone and reconnect it after 10 seconds.
7. Your Apple iPhone is now unlocked.
and the important thing remote unlocking is available for some country and network providers only so if you are interested you can try from them before that see whether remote unlocking is available for your country and provider..

WHEN I TRY TO SEE RECENT CALL HISTORY THE I PHONE 3 GS REVERTS TO THE HOME SCREEN. IS THERE ANY WAY OF RESOLVING THIS?

hello, ensure you are not clicking on the key wrongly,i would advice you put the phone off and on back to see if the problem stops.if it doesn't i would also advice you ensure you close any application you are not making use of.it could also be as a result of accumulated opening of applications. if that does not stop the problem,i would suggest you get the phone flashed by a mobile phone authorized repair engineer around you.
wish you good luck,
take care.

If your carrier is T-mobile and you updated the iphone firmware via iTunes with the official update, then you need to re-unlock your iphone again.

ITunes cant connect/recognise my iPhone 3G

Disconnect iPhone and close iTunes.

Go to Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools.

Under Administrative Tools, Go to Services and look for 2 services.

Apple Mobile Device
iPod service

Both services should be started If they are not, start both of them.

Start iTunes and wait for it to finish loading.

Reconnect iPhone.

Restore problem with emergency call display all time

Your iPhone is not factory unlocked. This means if you purchased it from the USA you need a deactivated ATT SIM card to get it past the activation or use a program called QuickPWN to Jailbreak + Activate your iPhone
