Ok ,
Does it trip all the time now,or only after running a while.?

If it trips right when you reset breaker with machine OFF, have the wiring checked for a dead short to ground up to the thermostat.

If it trips after running ,as it starts or intermittently there's a dead short to ground that could be any where.

You can simulate what is going on by doing this check.
Unplug machine.
Using an ohm meter, set to ohms, place a test lead on the ground prong(round one) .Place the other test lead to one of the remaining prongs. If there is any reading youv'e got a short. Try the other prong as well
However, if you get no reading there still could be an intermittent short .

Another thing to check. It might not be the machine at all.

Sometimes,if your wall recepticle is worn or old it can heat up causing circuit breaker trip.
Make sure there are no extention cords involved.
If you're on a 15 amp circuit ,you might want to upgrade to 20

Good hunting

Delfield 6000 series 404a, need running pressure in 94 degree kitchen

300-350 on high side. Way too high. Most all commercial unit are built to live in an environment of not more than about 80. Some survive 85. Above that, it's will die due to over working and heating.

Why is the control panel flashing HI on my Delfield RS10550 ?

Not sure why you would want a -19 degrees when ice cream usually is about -10.
I have had some issue with their freezers not holding temp. Would have a temperature rise and cause the compressor to come on in as little as 4 minutes. Never found the cause. I would cause the compressor to come on and over heat and go out on overload. Sorry but I can not give an exacting answer. This is not normal for most freezers.

Is it possible for a delfield freezer 6151 XL-S to trip a breaker every 2-3 hours if the TXV valve was faulty letting liquid get to compressor. This unit has had controller and relay start assembly...

I would look to see if it is tripping during the defrost cycle. One of the heater elements my be faulty. Never heard of a bad TXV causing a breaker tripping, but I guess it's possible. I would adjust the superheat so that it is about 6 to 8 degrees just prior to unit reaching temp and shutting off. I'd start there.

Delfield freezer 6151-S keeps tripping GFCI

Try it in a normal plug. Freezers and refridgerators just pull too much to be used on a GFCI. The more a GFCI is used the eaiser it trips.

I am working on a delfield model 6176-s and the display board is showing error 4. what does that mean?

Wow, what a challenge.
I found what I think you are looking for.
First, this only applies if the controller is an MCII. Should be printed on the face of the control.
In their 1996 manual for 6000 series reach-ins, it states that the number "4" error code is "Continuous operation with overtemp condition." It also says "What to do." and lists "Check refrigeration system and control system."
Hope this is what you are looking for. Good Luck.
