What does the internal 601 Battery do, and how to replace it

Do you use your power off the mains at all (not plugged in) It will be the main battery for the laptop.

If you always leave your laptop plugged in there isn't much point in getting a new battery. Perhaps you can turn off the error message on startup?

When does the batteries need replacement?

the shaver will slow down as the batteries discharge. To suddenly stop suggests either loose batteries or faulty switch. There should be a charging cradle for the shaver to keep it working but if you need batteries then open the battery cover and replace with the same batteries.

To replace, you will need to remove the back cover by removing the two screws. You may need to extend the long hair trimmer to get to the second screw. Take off back cover to access inside. You can unsolder the batteries from the circuit board but for easier replacement, it is sometimes suggested that you use a modified installation technique. This is to break the tabs off of the old batteries with small needle nose pliers rather than unsoldering them from the circuit board. This allows the old batteries to be removed but leaves the tabs attached to the circuit board. You can then solder the tabs from the new batteries to the old existing tabs

If you are not able to do this yourself, you can have shaveroutlet.com do it for you. See link below

I replace the batteries in the remote control and the train will not go. Is there batteries in the train that might need to be replace, if so, where do I find them?

According to the Instruction Manual it requires 6 AAA batteries, you will need a Phillips screwdriver to access the panel where you must replace it.
The remote controller and the engine need batteries.
Engine
• Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Engine. • Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Lower the battery compartment door and insert three "AAA" (LR03) alkaline batteries. • Close the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. • If this product begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Remove the batteries and replace them in the toy.

I need to replace the onboard battery

If by on board battery you mean the cmos battery, then you would only need to replace it if your computer is constantly forggetting or losing the correct time and date..

If it is doing som the onboard battery is round and flat ( like a watch battery) and is usually accessed either under the keyboard, or by removing one of the plates on the bottom of the laptop..

Make sure the main battery is removed and the power cord is removed before replacing the onboard battery.
