Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T11 Digital Camera
The Lcd screen shows vertical lines and the pictures taken appear out of focus and blurred

Your camera model was included in the general recall issued last year for the CCD factory defect. Here's a link to the announcement, you can also see a screenshot there for comparison - http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/news-item.pl?mdl=DSCV1&news_id=118 If for some reason sony tells you that it's not the same problem with your camera - it could still be a CCD defect, or the camera's main PCB. Try not to take a no for an answer and get it fixed through sony. Good luck

This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Sony should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following link for more info:

The "CCD IMAGER" of your camera is in state of malfunction, and the good thing is that SONY provide CCD IMAGER free of cost,For more information Clicl Here.
Check the link and contact any SONY SERVICE CENTRE for free replacement of CCD IMAGER.
