I took my nozzle apart on my hoover steam vac because it leaked water all the time, now I cannot get the back together

The Hoover SteamVac is an upright, self-contained carpetcleaning machine. The machine features five rotating brushes and on-boardstorage for a hand-held upholstery tool with an 8-foot hose. But itis not that much difficult to re-attach the Hoover SteamVac nozzle. Here, a weblink, with full procedure and diagrams, which will help you to re-attach iteasily - http://hoover.com/file/624/. Hope this will help you. Good Luck.

Hoover Silver Steam Cleaner

If the solution chamber is full, there might be a clog in
a screen,or a bad pump,which circulates the fluid.
You might have to take the vacumm apart,if everything looks good from the outside. Good luck.

How do i attatch the upholstery cleaner for the hoover f5835 900

The instructions for the cleaning tools are included in the User Manual. Please download or read it from:
http://www.hoover.com/pdfs/manuals/F5835900.pdf

The Upholstery Cleaner requires the hose be connected to the recovery tank, and the tool be slid onto the hose end.

I think the trigger on my upholstery hose is broke how can i tell? trigger is loose- water just flows out and i have to shut the machine off. i have a hoover steam vac dual deep cleaner

The most common issue with this is the white nozzle tip broken. sometimes it comes out. it still could be the trigger. take it to a shop and they can tell right away. the trigger is spring loaded, you should feel tension.

MY hoover steam vac hand held hose cleaner leaks profusely

try taking a sharp knife and shaving a little off the edge of the plastic, or a small file if you can get to it, see if it is getting binded. If its getting stuck internally, you will have to replace the switch instead of risking takin it apart.

I can not seem to get the attachment for the upholstery cleaner to operate what am i doing wrong????

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
The attachment works on the suction from the Hoover Steam Vac and it’s either a straight suction tool or a revolving brush, check the front of the machine to see if the is a switch to turn on and odd, also before you attach the upholstery tool check the end of the hose for suction, it may be that your upholstery tool may be clogged or the brushes are not spinning and a part may be broken. Feel free to check with you local vac dealer or a new or a good used part if you find out what is wrong. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Check the end of the upholstery hose, it may be cracked.

Upholstery conversion

Take out the duct in front of the tank (#3), the hose end will have a duct on it that you insert in its place. This provides the suction for the hose. Don't forget to put that duct you took out back in place, or you won't have suction when you use the steam cleaner.
