Hi there, you will need to pull the door apart to clean. there will be 2 screws at the top and bottom of the door once you remove them the door should pull apart. Make sure you take the door off the oven. :)

How do I remove the front door glass

First you have to remove the door. Your owner's manual may show you how to do this. Otherwise, check YouTube. With the door removed, look at the bottom of the door and remove the 3 or 4 screws on the bottom. On some oven doors, that is all that is needed; the outer glass will slide down and off the oven door. On other models, you also need to also remove the 2 screws that hold the door handle. Then the outer glass will lift off the door.

It is a double oven, but I want to eliminate the lower oven... so, I am looking for an electrical plan so I can find out how to disconnect the lower oven... and only install the top part.

•Step 1
Open the oven door to the half open position. Locate the hinge on each side of the oven door toward the bottom. The top center of each hinge has a hole. Insert a nail or screw into the empty hole on each hinge to prevent the hinge from closing inside the door rail after disconnecting from the oven.
•Step 2
Grab the sides of the door with your hands and lift straight up to disengage the hinge from the door. Push down slightly on the top of the door to release it from the hinges. Pull the door away from the oven and place it on a flat surface with the door handle toward the floor.
•Step 4
Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the two screws at the top of the inside door panel that secure the inner door panel to the outer door panel. Loosen and remove the three screws on the bottom edge of the oven door with the screwdriver. Lift the inner panel away from the outer oven door.
•Step 4
Loosen the two screws that secure the door handle to the outer door panel. Lift the outer door panel slightly to pull the handle away from the door.
•Step 5
Remove the screw at the top and bottom of the side hinge rails with the screwdriver. The hinge rails mount to the outer door panel and the inner panel sits between the rails. Lift the hinge rails off the outer panel.
•Step 6
Lift the inner door glass straight up out of the outer door panel. Stand the outer door panel up on its bottom edge. Pull the top trim off of the door panel and outer glass. Hold the top of the glass panel and pull the two side trim pieces away from the outer panel. Pull the outer glass away from the outer pan.
once it comes out you can do what u want.

I self cleaned the oven for 4 hours and it worked great. I decided to take the front glass off to clean inside it. it was quite dirty inside and the self clean did not effect it. Once I put everything...

The procedure to Disassembling the door is as follows:-- 1. Set the oven door wide open. 2. Lift the hinge jumpers with your thumb and index fingers, then turn them fully outwards to the end of stroke. 3. Turn the door towards the closure position and lay it on the jumpers: in this way the hinge's spring is blocked. By fully closing the door the hinges are unhooked from the connection slits which are integral with the oven muffle. 4) Re-assemble the door by carrying-out the aforesaid operations in the opposite order. Disassembling of the door glasses:-- for your safety, before removing the glasses you should remove the oven door. To facilitate the cleaning, after having removed the door from the oven, you can proceed with the disassembly of the glass. Release the two upper blocks so that the glass can be removed. After the cleaning you should reassemble the glass, replace the blocks and lock into position. Check that all components have been assembled correctly and than you can re-assemble the door onto the oven. check fig:-- For more help click this link directly. The model and brand is different in the picture but the procedure to assemble the door is similar to your model http://www.partselect.com/ModelFrames.aspx?ModelID=1015781&ModelNum=plef398aca&ManufactureID=4&Selected=QN7WQCV6&Position=1&mfg=Frigidaire&Type=Appliance&Mark=3 Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Condesation build up between glass in door... I get condensation build up between the glass in my whirlpool WFG374LVb oven ...whirlpool said that is normal...is that true?

Yes, while the glass is still relatively cool. Many oven doors today have access slots on the bottom of the door to enable you to clean the inside of the glass window. Steam can enter the door at this point and condense on the cooler outer glass.

Outer glas of the dor broken its a QA make built

I will give you summary instructions on how to repair the door outer glass on a built in kitchen.

Prepare a space on a table, where to work on the door. Cover the taple with newspaper.

Remove the door. On some model you may just need to lift and pull, on others you need to free the hinges, usually undoing few screws.

Put the door on the table. Remove fragments of splintered glass if the glass is falling apart, otherwise leave it all in one piece.

On the table remove the set of screws that are holding the external frame and glass.
Remove external glass and replace it. You can use pliers and a cloth if needed.

Do operations in revers order to refit new glass.

Need to clean liquid drip from inside of door whirlpool built-in

Hi, The screws in the bottom edge of the door will need to be removed. The dor handles screws usually help hold the upper part of the door together. There might be screws on each side. Makes sure the door is laying on a flat surface and be gentle with the glass pieces. They are very fragile.
I am sending you a picture of the door pieces and how they line up inside the frame.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

I need a replacement door for a built in Baumatic 720 series oven

I have exactly the same problem and my bottom glass panel exploded. My friends did the same. You can take the inside glass panel out via the two screws and clean the inside of the outer glass once removed. Id replace all the rubber seals to as they perish, particularly the one that clips onto the oven itself that meets the door.
