Have you already formatted the card on the unit? Sometimes with a Canon recorder if the card is not formatted on the unit itself it will not work. Also try to check the resolution that you are recording at.

Good Evening Pat
You will be fine, its just a standard warning that comes up when you dont use the same brand memory card.
If the camera is able to record and upload the video to your computer or TV then you should have no problems at all.
I hope you enjoy the wedding.
Thanks

Canon FS200 won't fully initialize 16 GB SDHC card

I have the same problem with my Canon Vixia HF R20 and I'm using a Lexar Pro 64Gb 133x SDXC card. When I try to initialize the card, its fails and says Process Terminated. The write-protect is off. The older class 4 SDHC card I've tried seems to work ok, which is a SanDisk 4Gb.

SD Card Not Working

Well here's a probem indeed. If you did infact buy an SD Card i believe it should work. But if you bought an SDHC, your camera might not support it. I know my camera i bought a couple years ago can not support SDHC cards. They look the same, but they transfer data much faster. Let me know if that is not the case. chris173@gmail.com

Dosen't reconize 8 GB SDHC memory card

Older model printers won't recognize high-density memory cards.

2 gb is probably the largest to be used in your printer.
