Question about RCA Lyra RD2315 MP3 Player
I tryed creating Selection list and it doesn't keep the information it pick songs randomly. As recommended by RCA I user Musicmatch to create a playlist, The musicmatch software copies it but, it doesn't even show on the player anywhere. When scrolling into MySel the song titles dissapear from the list... I upgraded the firmware and the Lyra application, I still have the same problem.

Your problem is MusicMatch. In the RCA manual, which is found on the CD or online (nothing is printed), it refers you to the MusicMatch software to learn how to create M3U playlists. Someone at RCA didn't talk to MusicMatch before making this claim. The MusicMatch software makes a mess of the files and never saves a playlist properly. You can devise a process using WinAmp which would probably work with Musicmatch, but I prefer WinAmp. Here's the process:
Rip your CDs, download from the internet, and transfer the files to the RD2850 while the Lyra is connected as a hard drive. The files are
stored in the /MUSIC directory. I suggest you organize your albums like this /MUSIC/

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
