Clean tub options keeps blinking on affinity frigidaire fafs4474lwo model

Hello Jodi, thank you for your post!

Your Frigidaire washer (FAFS4474LW0) will automatically prompt you to run the CLEAN WASHER cycle typically every 50 cycles. If you wish to begin the cycle, press SELECT when prompted. This maintenance cycle uses hot water and two rinses to remove residue that may cause odor. For best results, I recommend to use the CLEAN WASHER cycle once a month

You may press the CANCEL button to manually perform the cycle at another time if you prefer. You can do this by following these directions:

·Rotate cycle knob to Rinse & Spin
·Then press the CLEAN WASHER option button
·The LCD screen will display "SYSTEM CLEAN"

    Hope this helps! - Z

Stops once started

Dryers generally have a high limit switch close to the heating element. Without knowing make and model I can't be specific. Some have a manual reset button; others work as a fusible link and must be replaced. They may trigger because of overheating. Try and clean-out the dryer vents and vaccume up as much stuff as you can. Remember, dryers cause about 30% of house fires.

Why isn't My Kenmore Heavy Duty 70 Series Soft Heat Extra Capacity Electric Dryer drying clothes on any one cycle?

One possibility: Air flow! Make sure that the lint trap is cleaned before each cycle. You likely need to thoroughly clean out the vent piping out the back of the machine- a buildup of lint in here can also restrict airflow.

I do not know how to clean my 6th senses whirlpool dryer because i lost my manual

Pour in a gallon on vinegar and fill the tub up to the highest load size your machine accommodates, and run it on a normal cycle.

After I dry my clothes, I smell this dead animal smell. Thought it might be a dead animal, but could it be the ring around the drum that is burnt? My clothes now dry smell stinky. We took it all apart...

thats the mold and mildew on the bellow that you are smelling. thoroughly clean the bellow. i also suggest that you purchase a tablet called affresh. this will help to remove that smell. if your machine does not have a self clean cycle then just put the tablet in and do a regular wash. if you machine has a clean cycle, just put tablet in and set on clean cycle. I also recommend that after each load you thoroughly wipe off the bellow and leave the door open for about 30 minutes so that machine can air out.

Hi, my 6 year old kenmore dryer series 700 started not drying the clothes in a single dryer cycle a week ago. I'd just run it another cycle and the clothes would be dry. Today there is no heat at all....

First check the vent pipe going out of the house might be cloged the best way to clean it out you self is to try a leaf blower if has enough force now it is not heating is because it has blow the high-limt thermal on the tub the heating element is in at the top of the tube on the left side (this is in the back panel of the dryer ) use a ohms meter to check if it is open if it is it will need to be replaced the cloged vent will cause the long dry time and will end up blowing the high-limit on the tube good luck
