You should replace the laser module. You can order one at online shops like http://www.consoleparts4u.co.uk/ or buy a cheap laser part on eBay, but watch out with buying components that are made in China/Hong Kong. There is a bigger chance of bad quality. There is no soldering involved into replacing a PSP laser part. But you should watch out with static electricity and i recommend you following up a disassembly tutorial, for example the one here: http://www.consolezombie.com/PSP/PSP_Laser_Replacement.html

When you say the disc does not show up, do you mean it won't read? Or do you mean when you put in a disc nothing at all happens? If the disc won't read it's a fairly simple problem and you just need the lense cleaned. You can go buy a disc cleaner and run it through a few times and that should do the trick! If it won't read at all, maybe the disc isn't compatible with your system and if that's not the case, well then you might want to take it to the shop and have it looked at. If it's not reading at all it's probably an internal problem and the eye isn't seeing the disc.
sounds like your motherbord is gone friend, if you know you put the drive in correctly and cleaned the lense then its your motherbord.is it possible you bought another faulty blu ray drive or lense?i fix ps3's and have never seen this problem not fixed with a simple cleaning of the lense with waterd down alcohol
That is an odd problem. It sounds like you maay need to change the laser or the dvd rom assembly if its reading only one game, yet all the games it wont read are working ok in another console. If i was you id simply replace the DVD rom drive, making sure its the same version as the original from the unit. I hope this helps. Good luck.
Have you tried cleaning the disc? If that doesn't help, maybe you can put the PS3 in a area where it is not dusty and see if that works. If both of these solutions don't work, try contacting Sony and see if they have any solutions to your problem.
If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try
another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem
is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read
error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide,
that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It
also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a
