Question about Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
My laptop sounded like a helicopter, took it to the PC repair dude and he couldn't find anything wrong. Got it back and no sound anymore. Took it back he reinstalled drivers etc, still no sound. Said there is something sticky on the board. *blush* I spilled a drink more than once. No sound from headphones. Is this problem fixable? Does the board have to be replaced? Any insight would be appreciated.
Yes; sad to say, but your board probably will need replacing. Spilling drinks on your computers, esp laptops, isn't a good thing to do. I have never experienced spilling anything on my computers personally, but I know other people why have, and the motherboard is what they had to replace.
