For error 4014 On the PC go to palmone/user...../ and rename the "exchange" directory to .old When you hotsync again it will work without the error and will create an empty directory. Worked for me with my new LifeDrive and TomTom software. For error 4004 The only thing that worked for me.. Was to do a hard re-set and then to reload each non-Palm problem, one by one, checking each time to see that I didn't get that same 4004 error message. This was time-consuming, but it worked.
OK, I tried the suggestion and it did get rid of my 4014 problem but I still get this message. The contacts and calendar are the things I am most worried about. Any other suggestions?
