How can I download my photos from Canon Ixus 70 to my Satellite C55-A-Ino

Hello there
The easiest way to do this is to use the data cable which plugs into the camera and has a USB plug on the other end to plug into the computer's USB ports. Turn the camera on. Using Windows Explorer click on Computer in the left hand pane. In the right hand pane you will see a selection of drives, one of which will be the camera card. Double click on this and proceed to the folder containing the photo files, usually "jpg" format. By highlighting these files you can "Drag and Drop" them to anywhere on the computer (My Pictures is usually the best place with a new folder using the date of transfer to identify them). Having done this and confirmed that they have been transferred you can then use a right click on the files in the camera to delete them from the card so that you have space for more photos on the card.
Alternatively you may have a card reader slot on your Sony in which case you can take the card from the camera and insert in the computer's card reader slot. The procedure for transfer is then as above.
Hope this helps

When i put my sd memory card back in my digital camera it said file error

This can be due to a corrupt configuration file in the SD card. I recommend:
1) Insert the card in the SD slot in a computer that has the slot
2) Go to "My Computer" (or "Computer" in Windows 7)
3) Right click the "SD card" icon
4)Click "Format..."
5) Press "Start"
Then you should be able to use the SD card properly with your camera.

I have purchased a second hand camera. When I put a 4 GB Sd card. It does not give any display

4GB "SD" cards are almost always actually SDHC (high capacity) cards. SD and SDHC cards fit the same slots, but they are slightly different electrically. Many cameras won't work with SDHC cards. SDHC is not backwards compatible.

Olympus SP800UZ Digital Camera Media card will not lock into card slot, it comes right back out!

Put in another SD or SDHC memorycard to test if it is the camera or the memorycard which is faulty. Are you sure you put in the correct type of card? Only SD / SDHC will fit correctly in the camera.

Internal memory is full

  • Don’t miss a shot if your memory card becomes full—switch to in-camera memory quickly, thanks to the internal memory plus feature
  • 16 MB internal memory[1]and SD/SDHC card compatibility lets you start shooting right out of the box
  • or
  • Connect your camera to your PC !!
  • Either you can go to ebay and buy youre self a usb lead that slots in to the camera on the right hand side, the other end slots into a usb on the tower, and you can then transfer youre data (pictures, movies)to youre computer, enabling you to delete all youre data from youre memory.Leaving you a empty internal memory.

I have a problem with my kodak easyshare C310 digital camera

Hi I am Vortash It sound as if you have a damaged pin on the sd card reader within your camera , and it is not reading the cards id correct . It may be just a result of dirt on the pins ( grease from hands touching the sd cards causes problems ) simply try spraying the inside of the sd card slot with a good quality electronic switch cleaner , then put the card in and out a few times to rub the contacts . ( Clean the sd card with the switch cleaner and a clean cloth or tissue first )
CAUTION when spraying the sd card slot make sure the batteries are dissconnected and give the camera ample time to dry before re inserting batteries ..if this fails then a service department will be able to check the reader out for you . ..Hope this helps regards Vortash

Memory card locked

pull the SD card from the the slot and it right side up with the label facing you, there is a short slot on the side with a sliding switch. move it to the other side of the slot and that will unlock the card. (it probably go moved as your were putting the card back into your camera) good luck!
