Question about Estate TAWS850PQ

1 Answer

Fills but nothing else

The washer will fill itself correctly but then does nothing else. The machine is a little over a year and a half old. I have a feeling the motor is cooked, but the load I had in was a small load. When it does try to move all it does is buzz.
Any ideas?

Beko wmv610 washing machine fills with a little water then stops works on spin drain can eny one tell me the cause thanks

The water level switch (pressure switch) might not be giving the correct signal to washer control board. This causes the washer to switch to drain and empty. It also possible the control board is faulty.

This is a Tesco washing machine and maybe hard to get parts. But if it is under 2 years old you still may have a warranty for it.

The washer fills with water but then nothing happens. The washer does not cycle at all.

I had this happen too; the problem was the lid switch. The plastic housing had come apart, either from the lid being slammed down or just normal wear and tear (the washer is 5 years old). Two small screws on the top inside edge and there was enough slack in the wires where I could pull it out to look; I held it together with my hands, pressed the lever and the washer started cycling as usual. Replacing it is a little bit of a pain but better than buying a new washing machine.

My kenmore 400 washer fills but nothing else

Lid switch is still most likely the problem. Are you able to unplug washer from wall and check the wire connected to the switch.

check to see if your drain hose is too far down in the stand pipe this will siphon water out as it fills.

Washer fills with water , then shuts off , doesn't move to another cycle

Since you know about the lid and check switches, they are located under the splash (control)panel. unplug the machine and remove the screws holding the panel on. Using a meter check the switches for continuity and replace if they've gone bad.
