There is a float in the evaporative cooler that will let water in when the trough is low and then when it fills, should shut the water off. I would check to make sure that the float arm is not corroded or misaligned.

Sometime water run from under my refrigerator what could be the cause and what i need to check to fix the problem?

Check the drain line by looking from the back of the refrigerator and make sure it is running into the drain pan. Also check to make sure the drain line isnt stopped up or the pan is over flowing with water. If That checks ok if you have an ice maker and water dispenser you will have a water line hooked to the back of fridge, make sure it isnt leaking at connection then it runs up through the side of the door to the ice maker. Also after the ice makes it fills a trough with water maker sure that isnt pulled out and the water is pouring down. Most common thing is if you have moved the fridge lately the drain line got moved and isnt draining in pan just pouring onto floor. Most of the time it is a drain related issue.

Water pouring out of the ice make

If the water is pouring out from underneath, and you have a drain pump, check in back of the unit to see if the water tube has come away from the drain pump, therefore dumping the drain water on the floor. It happened to our unit because the unit moves a bit each time the door is opened or forcefully closed. Hope that helps!

Rotten egg smell

Hydrogen sulfide gas. Try pouring a quart (liter) of distilled white vinegar mixed with a quart (liter) of water down the drain. Let it stand for half an hour, then follow it down with several gallons of water.

If that doesn't clear it up, you may not have a trap - that's a health hazard, and you'll need to have one installed.

Service error #21

I believe that is a water sensor error...your machine may be coated with lime preventing the machine from sensing water...generally if your unit is plumbed for water the boiler would need to be removed and de-limed...if you have a "pour over" unit...then try pouring white vineger mixed with water...50/50...into the normal fill port...let it sit for an hour or two and drain or flush...the vinegar is a safe way of dissolving the lime...phillip

Dishwasher not draining

Hi,

Thanks for writing to Fixya.com.

To fix a dishwasher that will not drain, remove any clogs that are blocking the drain line by pouring a paste of baking soda, vinegar and water down the drain, and then pouring boiling water to clear the clog. Repeat the process several times to remove a severely clogged dishwasher drain. Thanks for contacting Fixya and please accept the solution if it has helped you.

theres a chance you have a deffective solenoid staying open causing the water to overfill the boiler tank and passing out the overflow into the quench box and down the drain!

KENMORE, Model # 41743142200 gets stuck in mid cycle. It keeps pouring water into the washer and right out the drain. (Slowly) It will sit on the cycle as long as you let it.(Timer not moving) Never...

You may have a drain hose cyphoning out the water. Make sure you have a air gap in the drain between the hose and the drain pipe and make sure the drain hose is higher than the tub of the washer. If this is clear you may have one of the following. Either a bad water level switch or a bad inlet valve. To find out if the water valve is bad while the water is pouring in unplug the machine and see if the water stops. If the water stops the valve is fine. If the water continues to flow you will need a new valve. If the water stops then you will need a water level switch. Let me know what happens and I will be happy to help.

take out bottom basket,if it's frozen in melt it out with hair dryer, usually when this happens the drain is blocked and water will be outside of freezer door you have to melt out drain then blow out the drain line i use a steamer, you can try pouring hot water down drain line but alot of times slime forms in there and it has to be blown out with steamer or getting some kind of hose like the water lines used on the refridgerator wter lines and blow through it to unblock it,check it by pouring water down drain to see if it's clear

Water collecting in the bottom tray and, at time, pouring out

The condensate drain is probably plugged w/dirt. You have to blow out the drain w/ some pressure to clear the drain.
