Philips photo frame can't select SD/MMC Card for photos

There could be several reasons why you are unable to select the SD/MMC card for photos on your Philips photo frame. Here are a few possibilities:
  1. Make sure that the card is properly inserted into the card slot.
  2. Check the format of the SD/MMC card. The photo frame may only support certain types of card formats.
  3. Make sure that the SD/MMC card is not full or damaged. If the card is full or damaged, it may not be recognized by the photo frame.
  4. Try a different SD/MMC card to see if the issue is with the card itself or with the photo frame.
  5. Reset the photo frame to its default settings and try again. To reset the photo frame, remove the card and unplug the power cord. Press and hold the "Reset" button (usually located on the back or bottom of the frame) for 10 seconds, then release it. Reconnect the power cord and insert the card.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, there may be a problem with the photo frame itself. In this case, you may need to contact Philips customer support for further assistance.

How to get the Nikon in 5200 PTP Mode? Can not find USB mentioned any where.

I would not use PTP. Too many things can go wrong. Just about all professionals download directly from the SD memory card. Follow the following steps. They are very similar for both Mac and PC.
1) With the power turned off, remove the SD flash memory card from your camera.
2) If your computer has an SD card slot, insert the SD card in the slot. If it does not, there are many USB cable input card readers for under $20. Connect the external card reader to a USB receptacle on your computer. In either case, the computer will use "Plug-n-play" to connect your SD card.
3) Double click either the device or folder on your desktop. The pictures are almost always inside a subfolder. When you open that folder, you will see your photos.
4) Depending on what you want to do with your photos at this point, you may want to move the downloaded pictures to another location or software such as Lightroom or Photoshop.
5) CAUTION! If you want to erase your SD card, DO NOT DO IT VIA THE COMPUTER. Your computer's formatting may not be compatible with your camera's format algorithm. Remove the SD card from the computer or reader and insert it in the camera. Follow the instructions on page 168 of the D5200 manual to reformat the SD card.

How can i transfer pictures from acer iconia to memory card

This Tablet Personal Computer [PC] takes Micro Secure Digital [SD] Cards. To transfer pictures from a Digital Camera to this PC, if the Camera also takes Micro SD cards, is simply a matter of removing the Micro SD card from the Camera and installing it in the PC's Micro SD Card Slot and then waiting for the PC's AutoPlay function to serve up the photo files stored on the card, which can then be Dragged and Dropped into a photo folder on the PC.

If the Camera takes SD Cards, then a Micro SD to SD Card Adapter is required so that the PC's Micro SD Card can fit in the camera before pictures are taken and then disconnected from the adapter afterwards, for re-insertion in the PC.

If the Camera takes a different type of Memory Card, then a Multi Card Reader might be required, which would be connected to the computer's USB Port and the Memory Card slotted into its matching slot in the Card Reader.

I have a digital photo frame Coby DP-5588. I bought a sd card Kington 4GB when I insert the card in the photo frame appears a message "wrong Card" and it doesn't read the card content. What can I...

Your 4GB card is actually an SDHC card, not an SD card. While SDHC cards will fit into SD slots, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to use an SD (or MMC or xD or MS), 2GB and smaller.

The memory card has corrupted the images somehow. The recovery is a 50-50 chance. Try to find a software named rescue disk from Sandisk. And try to recover the files.

I bought a panasonic DMC-LS80 last june and i missplaced the CD-rom disc for this camera, therfor my laptop wont be able to read any SD card from this camera ,what can i do or will i be able to get a new...

I do not believe that cd-rom has anything to do with reading an SD card at all. I think if I remember correctly it is a photo album type program and I thought it stinks. Your best bet is getting an SD card reader which some are very cheap on e-bay and fit into a usb slot. You place the card into the reader and it will download your picture files taken with the 80. Your windows program picture viewer or similar should be able to show your pictures on your computer. I personally took out the cd-rom panasonic program and use windows picture viewer or similar

Cannot copy photos from my SD card

If the printer is connected to your PC with the USB cable then as soon as you insert the SD card in the slot it acts as a drive. Open up "My Computer" and search for the new drive (e.g. E: or I:). You can explore the SD card as you would with your hard drive and you can copy the photos on the SD card to your computer as you would normally copy files.

PANASONIC TH-42PD60U

I had a similar problem where my TH-42PX60 would turn on but all controls were disabled. I could not change channel, input, volume or anything other than turning the TV on and off. I called customer support and they directed me to this site: http://www.pasctraining.panasonic.com/specialapplications/productfirmwaredownloads/downloads1.asp to download a firmware update onto an SD Card. I inserted the SD card into the slot in my TV and powered it on. The update took about 3 minutes and I haven't had a problem since.
This is a link to the instructions to install the update:
