When you first turn on the radio it is loud, then when you turn it down and shut it off and go back to turn it on the volume is back up loud instead of where it was when you shut it off.

..maybe this may help..on some new units some settings may be memorised..just like setting your stations on radio..when you turn of then turn back on it may go straight to the memorised setting..this is only applicable any thing that has electronic control adustments..if it is a analogue control this wont be the aswer
