the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

My cpu is not booting and neither any thing is displaying on the moniter, i checked ram is ok.... don't know what to do, please me

Open the case, and disconnect all the devices (CD, disk-drive, floppy-drive). Turn the computer on, and see if the fan on top of the CPU spins, if the fan in the power-supply spins, and (optionally) if a lamp on the motherboard lights-up.

If not, then you need to try a different power-supply.

Dell Optiplex GX280 - On power ON , no Fan movement no display

Confirm no leaking or bulging capacitors on your mothboard.
refer to here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague

As this was a common problem with the GX280.
If found, you will need to replace the capacitors.

The other check is to make sure the heatsink is fitted correctly, perhaps reaply the thermal paste if you have any. I know that high temps would switch the GX280 off.

Go to the Asus website and download the drivers for this board. It's most likely that it did not come with drivers installed. Hopefully this will fix the problem. Good luck.

Failure on powerup?

I suspect that your PSU is faulty... can you buy another one? This is a fairly typical of a "Blown PSU" symptom to me... I would try replacing the PSU, and then connect ONLY the Motherboard, if OK, then Hard Drive, if OK then .. and so on.. I advise this as it MAY be something connected to the PSU that caused it to "Fault" but generally they just go Toes Up for no real reason.. other than PSU component failure.

Maybe a silly question to ask; but did you connect the processor power lead, as unlike some processors this needs a seperate supply.
