I had a compaq_pesario_CQ50 110us, when i press srt botton its fan run but nothing haps, no boot nothing,, pls help

Start taking your laptop apart piece by piece and test it after each removed component:
1. Remove the hard drive and test the laptop.
2. Remove the DVD drive and test the laptop.
3. Remove the wireless card and test the laptop.
4. Unplug the display panel from the motherboard/video card and test the laptop.
etc....
Continue taking it apart until you have only three major components connected: motherboard (with video card), processor, and memory. If you still experience the same problem, most likely it's bad motherboard.
By the way, before you start, try reconnecting the memory module. If you have two modules installed, try removing them one by one and test the laptop with each one separately.

Usb port not supported

What is that is not recognized, the device or the port?

Please go into your Device Manager and delete all references to USB ... you will find them listed at the bottom. Reboot. Windows will install what it needs.

If it still doesn't work, are your devices USB1 or USB2? Are they big power hungry devices? Is your independent USB power supply operating?

If still nothing, you may consier adding a USB PCi card.

Try to hook up front side usb but need to know were to start powerwire in the yellow socket? msi kt4av mobo help please

The front side USB should connect to USB pins located towards the bottom of the motherboard. Usually you will see a "USB1" labeled next to the pins that you would connect the wires to.

I tried looking up a manual for your particular motherboard, but there doesn't seem to be any posted online...That are I just got a little lazy while using google. (probably the latter...)

You'll get more info about the motherboard from here: http://us.msi.com/index.php?func=proddesc&maincat_no=1&cat2_no=&cat3_no=&prod_no=552#

I would like to know how to connect my front usb port on the motherboard

There should be some slots on the MB that say either USB0, USB1 or 1394. It is the connector with 9 pins, one of the corners missing.

Tower top mounted USB portss

The cables from the front panel USB connectors have a key in them that will line up with the missing pin on the board's USB headers. Just line up the connectors and plug them onto the board. It doesn't matter if you use USB1 on the board for the plug marked USB1.

Find usb pin in the boad " USB1 & USB 2" You can see five pins in the board composed of two lines. connect the cable in the line composed of four pins. from left. VCC, Data-2 , Data+2, grnd2. After connecting try a Usb mouse if the USB mouse function well then connection is correct.
