Hi, I very foolishly wound an already wound lens the wrong way, ie counter clockwise instead of leaving it alone, as in this case it was already to be attached to an already wound camera! As I turned the screw on the lens with a screwdriver it met with some resistance but then it locked after releasing the lens shutter. So I could not attach it to my already wound camera. Now the alignment will not stay in the correct position and keeps flicking back to the wrong position. Please help!!

Well I am sorry to have to tell you this but i fear that it maybe far beyond any help? As you have realized one should never ever force delicate things such as this...Once forced and this type of things happen, often it is beyond repair?
To my mind you only have one shot, and that's to take it to a professional and hopefully they maybe able to "Chase" (Repair the threads with special tools) the threads on Both units? However if this cannot be done, then I am afraid you may have to replace it? sorry about that. but it is better to know than not?

Two of the three lenses for my Canon AT-1 won't mount. One of them (mini-wide II) was on the camera. I changed it for the 50mm, no problem. After that I tried changing back: nothing. The 80-200: same...

This may be something you've already checked, but there's a small dot both on your lens mount, and on your lens that must be lined up for the lens to mount onto the camera - if they are not the lens will seem to not fit.

How to repair dell D630 DVD drive

Without specialist equipment, I am not sure you can repair the DVD drive.
All you can do is clean the lens with a cotton bud and clean dilute washing up liquid. Start at the centre of the lens with the damp bud working counter clockwise over the lens and leave to dry.
Hope that helps.

How do i replace a front turn signal bulb in a 1999 honda accord

If you have the lens that has the screws in it, then remove the screws, pry off lens, then push in and turn the bulb counter-clockwise to remove it.
If you don't have screws on the lens, then you have to go from behind and turn the light socket counter-clockwise to remove it, then push in on the bulb and turn it counter-clockwise to and then pull out to remove it.

Does anybody know which way i'm supposed to wind my cartier santos watch? Options: clock-wise, counter clock-wise, or multidirectional?? thanks

mcdevito75 here, Generally your Cartier watch is wound in a clockwise direction simply, due to how it:s made, in this direction the mainspring is tightened or wound and turning the crown in a counter-clockwise position only free wheels the winding mechanism. I would advise you wind your watch in a multi direction, however not to the very, very end of It"s winding capacity, once you feel the crown getting tension only 4--5 more multi-direction turns should be enough to maintain a good wind to your Cartier watch.

I have the exact same problem

If your lens has an aperture ring, do note that most of these lenses require the ring to be locked at a certain position for it to work. In the course of using the lens, you may have accidentally unlocked the aperture ring and moved it out of position. This is a common problem.

To fix this error, try this:

1. Turn off camera
2. Turn the aperture ring clockwise and then lock it
3. Turn on the camera

If you still encounter the same problem, repeat the same steps but turn the aperture ring counter-clockwise. Hope this helps.

Can't remove bulb cover to install new light bulb. Tried turning counter clockwise - no luck.

Hi, If there are no metal fasteners on or around the bulb to holld it in, it will need to be twisted. Try and put a towel on the lens to help you get a better grip.
It sometimes take a great amount of force to turn the lens.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

How to load bobbin into bobbin holder

When you have the bobbin wound and placed in the bobbin case pull on the thread. If the bobbin turns counter-clockwise the bobbin is in upside down. The bobbin must turn clockwise when you pull the thread looking at it from the back..
Then slip the thread into the notch and pull it up under the flat spring up into (through) the hole.
Thats it, now snap it in the machine.
