I have a haier model # htq18jabww-01 and the freezer seems to b working fine but the fridge does not seem to be cold at all...any soultions??

The "Cold-to-Coldest" adjuster in the freezer steals chilled air from the refrigerator to add more to the freezer. It's a mechanical damper. Set it fully CCW to cold (warmest position). I also put duck tape over half the chilled air outlets in the freezer to increase the chilled air pressure feeding the refrigerator section. Set the thermostat in the refrigerator to 8 or 9 and the freezer works fine and everything in the refrigerator is 38F.

My Dometic rv Refrigerator does not cool the lower (fridge section) properly. The freezer section is fine but the cold doesn't seem to be getting to the lower section. Adjusting the slide on the rear vanes...

If the freezers ok, then airflow is the issue, as the reefer gets its air from the freezer, set the dial that does not operate the compressor to the middle setting, pegging it to cold, makes the freezer colder by starving the reefer!, very common call requiring no repair , just a setting change!! never peg it!!

My refrigerator isn't cold, but my freezer still works.

Put your unit on a 24 hr defrost the freezer coil is frozen and blocked with ice the fan cannot draw any chill from the freezer section.

Freezer is cold but not keeping icecream frozen.

If, the fresh food section is 34- 38 degrees, then the freezer should be cold enough to keep ice cream solid. All of the cooling capability comes from the freezer section. I, personally, would not waste time or money on a ten year old box. Ten years ago it cost $1000, so, the outlay is $100 per year. Dump the old refrigerator and get a new one.

Freezer is ok, but lower section does not stay cold even at max

I think it's a compressor problem, must be compressor air is low .

Profile refrigerator section not cooling

We are not sure what precipitated the temperature swing up; however, within about an hour of emptying quite a lot of foodstuffs from top and bottom sections of the unit, I felt the cold air start to flow out of the rear vent. Within two hours, the upper section had dropped to about 50 degrees and by the next morning to 36. The freezer seemed to recoved on its own too, having risen to almost 8 degrees and then recovering to 0. Just patience and a smaller food payload?

Freezer works fine but the fridge won't get cold

It sounds like cold air from the freezer isn't making it to the fridge compartment. This can be cause by a several things. The damper that lets air into the fresh food side is stuck in "closed" position, the temp sensor (t-stat) isn't working properly, the evaporator fan (in the freezer comp above the coils) isn't working to blow air up to the fresh food section. In some situations, the defrost cycle for the freezer section isn't working and the coils have frozen into a block of ice and air can't flow over them properly so you get not cold air to the fresh food section but the freezer still stays cold due to the block of ice.
