Re: screen rolling

The DVD player might be set to PAL setting which is not compatible with our regions Televisions which are NTSC. Solution: Using the remote control for your DVD player look for a TV SYS button... The televison picture should clear up and you should now be able to watch your DVD.

LG RC700N GRAY ROLLING SCREEN ALL TIME AUDIO SOUNDS FINE

The player's video system is not compatible with the TV's video system. Check it's specifications and look for the video system. it's something like NTSC, NTSC-M, PAL and PAL-SECAM. Set the TV's video system to the player's video system or just simply set it to "AUTO" if available.

Vertical roll

I get Vertical roll on my Apex AD1000 DVD player and need a schematic. I don't know where to get a schematic but I have the necessary test equipment to troubleshoot the problem. Do you know where to get a schematic or know what causes the vertical roll problem?

Solution:

Program the setup menu screen to NTSC instead of "PAL" or "Auto"

Cyberhome 402 DVD "rolls"

I think I had switched to the PAL format by mistake. Fixed the problem by buying a new DVD player, was cheaper than the factory fix.

Docking problem

It is a problem with the latest version on IPOD... Rolling back previuos version will work, but I don't know if we're loosing features on IPOD enhacements.

I do have the same problem and I am in process to send a Help Request either to MAC IPOD and/or Philps to get together and offer an solution.

Rolling White Screen

Sounds like your inverter board has failed.

Yes, it is an expensive fix. You can try asking Best Buy if they can repair the unit if it is still under warranty, or what it will cost to have it repaired by the Insignia people.

If the player still works, you can try using it as a set-top unit and connect it to another monitor through the A/V outs.

Half of screen rolls

This sounds like a leaky electrolytic capacitor in the unit's video circuitry. You will have to take the unit to a qualified technician for repair, because there are no user serviceable parts inside, & the capacitor in question is about the size of a BB.
