Re: Camera button not working
By default, the camera button in the W810i isn't the most successful one. It usually requires a stronger press inside, until Camera Mode is on. I'd suggest sending the handset to a certified lab if it is still under warranty. If not, take the back cover off after having turned your phone off. Remove the battery. Unscrew the little screws at each side, and divide the two panels. On the panel with the camera button, please make sure the button is located above the pad that should be pressed and that there are no interruptions. Then, put everything back on, and check if the button works properly.

to be sure you could check if it is the button (remote controller) or the tv. use a digital camera. not the camera of your phone. my iphone 5 filters the ir out.
hold the remote for your camera and press a button you know still works. you should see a bleu light flashing in in the front of the remote. if so, press the text button and see if the light works or not. if it does not, your remote is defect. as a tech, i sometimes manage to clean up a remote and sometimes it then works for a few months. but if it is a button you often use i think you even can't do any good.
most buttons are on a rubber mat, and the other side is just conducting. if a drink came over the remote, opening it and cleaning out the sticky stuff could help. dot if you dont have technical skills and no knowledge of electronics, leave it and just buy a new one. will save you a lot of frustration.
The flash in the Camera can be enabled to Flash Forced ON by pressing the Up Arrow control button on the Camera. Press the button continuously to select the desired settings.
Make sure that the Camera Mode (REC MODE) is not set to Burst or Multi Burst.
Flash will not work when the Camera is set to ISO High Sensitivity mode or Twilight mode in the Scene Selection.
The flash will not work in Movie Mode also.
When using the Landscape, snow or Beach mode, set the Scene Selection to Flash Forced On.
This should resolve the issue.

may be the rec mode button is set at the anti grounding..usually at sony camera there are 3 switch mode the 5 sec mode, anti grounding and other and always use is the start and stop mode...this switch is located at the side of the camera...
just two things to do first
1- restore to factory setings from the menu and check if it is solved
2- if not just try to see does the knub is in its reguler state
if yes so you need to replace it
