Question about Samsung SMH7178STD Microwave Oven
I have a Samsung model 1032BB in my R.V. Starts up all by itself and then I can't turn it off/on; have to unplug it. Should I have it repaired or should I replace it?

Sounds like the fan is out, and it's overheating the magnetron, then the thermostat trips to protect it.
You can order Samsung parts (and check prices) by entering your model number here.
If your model is SMH7178STD the fan motor (without blade - you use the old one) is $27.69 plus shipping.
You can find your nearest Samsung-authorized service center here.
If you or someone you know decide to look into it, we have critical safety information and disassembly information at our site, and our link is at our listing here on FixYa.
At our site, we now have a video available showing how to remove a typical control panel assembly in under 5 minutes. Once that is out, you can see the innards pretty well.
