Question about HP BL30P X3.2 (368272B21) Server
I have a server that was given to me when my boss sold his business and I want to try to use it as a pc. What do i need to do to accomplish this?
One thing worth bearing in mind is how you plan to reinstall the operating system. It would be a very sensible idea to obtain the SCSI drivers. This is for when you have to press F6 on the boot up. Chances are it isn't going to have a sound card nor any USB ports if it's an old server.

A different operating system (Like XP)
However, depending on the server, it may not make the best multimedia device.
It really depends on the hardware configuration, and what you plan on using it as, but for the most part, you shouldn't have any problems.
