Question about Dryers
When you push the start button in the dryer starts when you let go of the button the dryer stops,is there a reset switch or does the button need replacing?
The button is fine
the button starts a relay that controls the very high currents for the heaters and motor
the relay is dead, or has come loose from its connections
if the cables have come off reattach them
not expensive to replace ~$29
trace the cables from the button to the relay not all relays are transparent.
