I recently purchased a Xact Stream Jockey II radio and its corresponding boombox.
When the radio is placed into the boombox, after a few seconds the radio shuts off. We have discovered that this is corrected by pushing down on the receiver and that the boombox appears to lose the connection to it during play time
if the problem can be "fixed" by pushing down the reciever, it must be caused by some sort of loose contacts or wiring. there's a good chance that tightning some screw will solve this problem. if you have basic electronic skills you can open the unit and check for any loose screw or wire.
