The B button on the Classic Controller will not work with my downloaded Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. I bought another one, but still am unable to use my sword and duck.

If the button works in other games then by process of elimination it sounds like the game is the problem. I would contact nintendo about the issue and possibly get a refund for the game.
Thank you,
Lee

My classic controller's buttons don't work at all in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and barely work in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (including the analog stick).

Have you made sure its plugged in properly and secure? Or made sure the wire isn't damaged? If its fine I would suggest trying a different controller or try a Nintendo GameCube one, they work.

^^ those are the beep codes, they are found here: http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/phoenixbeep.htm# i assume they are using phoenix bios. you may want to boot it again and pay close attention to the time inbetween beeps so you can accurately diagnose the problem. there is a way to force a bios flash, you'll have to download the bios on a second computer. go here: http://goebelmeier.de/bootstick/ download the program and follow the instructions. boot to your flash drive by tapping f12 at boot, select usb drive and dos will load. once it loads follow the instructions in the previous web address. good luck!

N64 and expansion pak whoas!

If your husband plugged it in without turning it off, the jumper pak, or the control deck itself is more than likely fried. Check and see if the control deck will work with the memory pak, instead of the jumper pak inside it. If not, the control deck is fried, and you'll need to buy another N64.

N64's Zelda, majoras mask problem

The Jumper pack is needed for Majora's mask, as the extra space is needed for the game to play the enhanced graphics. Ocarina of time was made before the jumper pak was introduced, so it does not need it.
As for installing it, get a jumper pak installer kit to remove the original memory pak, the insert the new one.
