Question about Philips SACD1000 CD Player

2 Answers

SACD1000 After some time playing CD, SACD or DVD the player stops. I am not able to restart. When I try to open the loader 'BLOCKED'appears on the display. Only after switching off, the player works again for some time to repeat the same problem. The End use/Dealer diagnostic software give 'PASS'. Kind regards. Norbert De Coninck

Re: SACD1000

Try resoldering the TZA1033 on the top side of the monoboard, and glue a piece of aluminium for cooling on top of it.

Good luck!

Re: SACD1000

Hi sounds like the device is worming up too much try putting it in a more ventilated place when it works or open its metal lid and leave it like that then see if it happens again... ****danger of electrocution**** keep from children if left open!! good luck

Dvd stuck in home 7-cd/dvd changer

So you want to remove the disc without damaging the disc? so its ok to damage the player.
Put a cushion on the floor, put player on it.
Use a strong pair of pliers to crush and bend all the plastic parts of the loader near the disc, shake the player so that the disc falls onto the cushion.

Player stops mid track and shows ''no disc''.

HELLO

Have you tried cleaning the lens? It's incredible how a dirty lens can cause so much grief! You'll need the CD player cover removed and powered off then get some isopropyl alcohol and a cotton bud. Wet the bud but not too much get any excess moisture off.

Using a careful circular motion clean the lens, let it dry and try the player again. If this does not cure the problem, you may have a defective laser and that will need replacing.

ALL THE BEST (:-)
